(Hip-hop is a popular add-on.) These  performing arts workshops are designed for  boys and girls who love singing,  dance,  and acting.  They will study ballet, tap, singing and will learn & perform in production numbers from Broadway shows.

This Performing Arts Workshop is designed for the pre-K, Kindergarten and early elementary grade boys and girls who love singing as well as dancing. They will study pre-ballet and fundamental tap and will incorporate their new skills in a song and dance number from a Broadway show.

  Acting

ACTING FOR KIDS
Children will learn about the work of the actor, independent of scripts and a performance environment.  Children learn about communication, focus, working with an ensemble and creative thinking.  We make use of and expand the child’s imagination while developing the actor’s instrument.  It is important for students to learn focus, concentrate, to take risks in a nurturing environment as they develop physical and vocal skills.

ADVANCED ACTING
Discover the truth in a scene and find truth in your actions. This scene study class is for students with previous acting classes or experience as well as teacher permission.

Private Acting Lessons and Coaching
Prepare your monologues for upcoming auditions with intuitive and expressive  teachers who have experience with the audition scene from both sides of the table. You will receive solid instruction and constructive feedback. Lessons are scheduled by appointment.

On and Off Camera Acting Workshops
Learn camera acting techniques used in commercial shoots, and movies as well as technique for stage. Students  will become acquainted with cold reading and other audition  techniques.
Offered throughout the year in workshops. Watch for Announcements!

Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance. In ballet class the dancer learns basic technique, positions, vocabulary, posture, center and the discipline of dance class. Lundstrum Center requires  performing arts  students to take ballet class unless there is a medical reason not to do so.  We offer several levels of ballet from beginning to intermediate.
Ballet  is  offered within the framework of the performing arts workshops. To accommodate those who want "ballet only,"  we also accept enrollment for the  ballet portion of  performing arts workshops.

Broadway Tap
Learn basic tools of rhythm, weight changes, foot articulation, shuffles, flaps, and basic time steps. Enjoy music of the 40’s, as well as original music by Marion and Lorraine Lundstrum.
This is a great class for Gals & Guys.
